I just found out that Don's memorial service is this afternoon. I have been away and regret so much that I did not know that the service was today. I thought so very much of Don. He was always so personable and gracious over the many years that I knew him. I will always remember his willingness to come to my classroom to speak with my students about his wartime experiences.
