Donald Eugene Stover

Donald Eugene Stover, age 90, of Arcadia, IN died June 30, 2014 at Prairie Lakes Health Campus at Noblesville, IN. He was born September 3, 1923 at Tipton, IN to Henry and Susan (Anderson) Stover. He was a graduate of Arcadia High School with the Class of 1942. Don then served his country in the U.S. Navy. After completing his military service he was employed as an engineering technician at Naval Avionics at Indianapolis for 30 years. He then worked in construction at Beck's Superior Hybrids near Atlanta, IN for 20 years. Don was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church at Tipton, IN where memorial contributions may be made. Contributions may also be made to Worship for Shut-ins. He married Phyllis Jean (Bardonner) Stover on May 30, 1943. She preceded him in death October 18, 2013. Surviving him is a son: Donald Gene (Cindy) Stover of Highlandville, MO, daughters: Diana Lynn Graves of Fishers, IN and Teri Ann (Ron) McDonald of Cicero, IN, 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife and his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson: Hank Deakyne, brothers: Robert Lee Stover and Leonard Stover, and son-in-law: David Graves. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 3, 2104 at 11:00 A.M. at Emanuel Lutheran Church at Tipton, IN with Rev. Robb Roloff officiating. Burial will follow at Lutheran Cemetery near Arcadia, IN. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel.
