I just finished reading "All the Gallant Men". I can´t even imagine how difficult it must have been to re-tell, re-live the events of Dec 7, 1941 and the aftermath of your difficult road to recovery. I thank you for once again being gallant. First-hand accounts of historic events are so important to share. We must remember our history to avoid history repeating itself. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your service to protect our freedoms and for sharing your story.

What else can you say about a GREAT man. He was a great HERO. Loved, his book, and all the great stories he had to tell. I will never FORGET him. He makes me a better person. Love Always.....

My wife, Mary Jo, my daughter, Erin, and her husband, Cory Baker, were Blessed to spend an hour with Mr. Stratton and his lovely wife, Velma, one afternoon in December, 2017 in their home. Velma even had cookies ready for us. A wonderful couple, a true hero. RIP. Anchors Aweigh!
