Donald R. Strieter

Don and Marion always knew they were welcome when they came east to New York. We also knew we were welcome when we went to Michigan for a visit. You could count on what Don said to be true. We were very blessed to have known him for at least 64 years. We'll miss his visits.

Don and Marion and their entire families are such great hosts. Whenever we visit we just start where we left off from the last visit. Don was always the greatest for showing us around the area and as proud as could be of his family, where they lived, and what they did. There was always something to learn.He was always optomistic and will be missed. We were blessed to have known him for many years.

I had the great honor of living just "down the road a piece" from my Uncle Don and Aunt Marian and always enjoyed playing in the huge barn and playhouse with my cousins. The end of school picnics in the "flats" were always fun. Uncle Don and his stories will greatly be missed.
