I was so sorry to hear of Mr. Sullivan's passing! He was responsible for my love of writing and English. Many thought of him as "stern", but he also inspired many of us while entertaining us with an occasional story of being on the beat of Butte's police force! (Maybe a few brass knuckles with a grin?)
