Not sure what to say?

September 25, 2008

Uncle Don:

You were an absolutely amazing individual. The love that you shared with your family and friends will never be forgotten. A song came to mind the other day by Lonestar called "I'm already there". This song will forever remind me of you as I feel your presence everyday. You will never be forgotten. You are the angel shinning through on that brightest star in the sky everynight!

Rest in Peace,

Lisa Sussman-Harbottle

Dear friend Julie -
What a wonderful man your father must have been to have been blessed by so much family love surrounding him. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Sincerely,
Pam

Hugs and Prayers to all of Don's family and friends. I was blessed to work with Don at Longs in Livermore, CA. He was always smiling bright, always a classy dresser, friendly to everyone, and enjoyed his time with his grandkids and family. I remember Don and one customer having a great time talking about the days of Kasper Hotdogs I believe. The good Ole Days. He'd laugh and smile at the stories he'd share.

God Bless you all. My thoughts and prayers will be with you. Don was...

Aunt Joan, Julie and Joe:

I am so sorry to hear about Uncle Don. I wish I would have known. I just found out and can not believe that this wonderful man has passed on. He was incrediable in life, just a wonderful person to look up to. He had such a good heart and was a joy to have had as an Uncle.

Joan, no words of sympathy can ease the loss of Don, but they can never take away the wonderful memories of the time you and Don spent together. In Sympathy, Al & Marian Carlson

I was so sorry to see that Don had passed away. We were high school classmates and, although we were never close friends, occasionally ran into each other over the years. He was such a pleasant, friendly guy. My sympathy to his family. I will miss him at our next reunion.

Don-You were one of the few that no matter how bad the day was going you continued to keep smiling and kept everyone in a good mood. You were always calm and listened to what people said and gave great answers always. You are truly missed at Long's (397) in Livermore.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Joan and the entire family. With warmest regards and deepest sympathy. John, Sue, JB, James and Brooke Atkinson.

Dear Joan, Julie, Dick, Joe, Kristy, & Grandkids,

Don was the true example of a gentle man who was so loving and kind to all. The laughter and joy he shared in living his life everyday only made everyone smile with a warm, heartfelt glow. He was a great man and his memory will never fade because of all the lives he touched in such a positive way. He will be deeply missed by all but be consoled with the fond memories we all have of him and may those cherished thoughts warm our hearts...
