Not sure what to say?

Liz, Bonnie and Warren,
Betsy and I wish to send our condolences to all of you on the passing of Don. He was a quiet gentle Giant that I was glad to know.

It was with great sadness that I learned of Dr. Swartz's passing. I had the pleasure of working with him on several occasions and found him to be a warm, caring and intelligent physician. Dr. Swartz made sure that things were done in the proper manner, not in the "easy" way.
My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. His life has left many cherished memories for those of us that were lucky enough to have known him.

To the Swartz Family:
I'm so sorry for your loss. Dr. Swartz was a wonderful person, mentor, colleague and friend. He was very dedicated to his patients and the residents at Albany Med. I'm sure his knowledge and legacy will continue forever. I will miss him.

Dr. Swartz was an amazing educator, brillant scientist and an incredible mentor to so many people. I had the distinct pleasure of working for and with him for 4 years and I will treasure each memory and the lessons he taught me throughout that short period of time. He was a truly gifted gentleman with a caring heart and a brillant mind and will be deeply missed.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Dr Swartz touched many lives at AMC, he was an inspiration to those who knew him, always treating patients and coworkers with respect. So sorry to hear of his death.
