Not sure what to say?

Remembering Don Tabbert is a no-brainer! Nobody who knew Don could forget him! He's one of those people who is admired and respected in life and years after passing people still remember and speak highly of him! He was a wonderful father, husband, leader, and friend...the best they come. Don, you are most definitely remembered and missed so very much.

As the days pass and you and your family return to a routine, you will began to feel comfort with the love of your family and friends. God Bless you at this time of sorrow.

My uncle Don was always someone I have looked up to. His love for his family and fun were never in question. I always looked forward to seeing him and catching up and listening to his stories. I will always remember watching movies with him even though would catch a few winks while I watched them. I will never ever forget him and I only wish I could have visited him one last time to tell him how much he has influenced my life. RIP, you may be gone but never forgotten.

What happy memories I have of living next door to you guys in Cedar Rapids. Don was an amazing man...funny, sympathetic, smart and driven with a heart as big as Texas. He loved pranking esp on April Fool Days! Spending time with Don and Harriet..going out to eat, bowling, going to Janesville, having keggers in our garage, watching you kids grow up....it was a fun and amazing time of my life and the memories always make me smile!! RIP Don. God broke the mold when He made you and you forever...

There is no words that I can say for how much I will miss my dad. All the years we worked iron together, the years we remodeled homes together. The wonderful times that we bowled together. The times we had on the lake. I will miss you dad! I love you!

Thoughts and prayers for the family! Mr. Tabbert was a joyful person and will be greatly missed.

I love you dad

Rest in peace, Uncle Don! You and all of your family are in our prayers.
