Manning-Heffern-O’Neill Funeral Home - Pawtucket Obituary

Donald O. Thibeault, Sr., 90, of Pawtucket, passed away Monday, December 21, 2015 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. He was the loving husband of Mary (Samra) Thibeault.
Born in Central Falls, he was the son of the late Armanzo and Blanche (Reandeau) Thibeault.
Mr. Thibeault served in the United States Marines during WWII and worked as an Industrial Mechanic at Teknor Apex for 25 years before retiring. He was an avid golfer and a member at the Stone E. Lea Golf Course in Attleboro, where he was a Ranger and had once gotten a hole in one.
Besides his wife he is survived by three children, Susan Adams of Warwick, Donald Thibeault Jr. and his wife Linda of Cranston and Denise Sequiera and her husband Donald of Pawtucket; four grandchildren, Michael Thibeault, Neil Adams, Dawn Collins, and Erin Camerlin; ten great grandchildren; three brothers, Norman, Roland and Robert Thibeault; one sister, Eileen Polke; several nieces and nephews.
He was also the brother of the late Geraldine Wheeler.
The funeral will be held Monday, December 28, 2015 at 9 AM from the COSTIGAN-O’NEILL Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Cecilia Church, Central Ave., Pawtucket. Burial with Military Honors will follow in RI Veteran’s Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours, Sunday 2-5 PM in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Home and Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904.
