I met Don the first week of my first "real" job. He was truly influential in my career. He was well known in the Navy acoustic community and will be missed. My fond memories usually include his pipe, those tiny #2 pencils, and a pint. My condolences to his family.

Don was a true technical innovator and leader in his field. I'm fortunate to have known him and have many great memories.
