Don in my office to fix something. Saw a microwave bowl holder on my desk and put it on his head. Was always good for a laugh. He will be missed.

My deepest sympathy to the family and all who were lucky enough to know him. I was so fortunate to be able to spend an inordinate amount of time with Don "at work" and working with him making all of the funny videos that we did that were appreciated by so many people. There was so much that he did that never made it on camera (or could never be shown -if we wanted to stay employed...) Every time we would have to stop as we would be laughing so hard- His quick wit and irreverent, sharp...

I first met Don at his mother's wedding to my uncle Robert Machak. I've worked at Alverno for 33 years. During the early years when I would see him I would ask how his mother and my uncle were doing. Then there were the later years when he would have lunch on Tuesdays with his mother. He was a devoted son.
I'm happy that I got to know Don and that he helped me get into my file cabinet when I locked all my keys in it.

Peace,...

My message is simple, my dad was the MOST amazing father anyone could ask for! He loved us girls with all of his heart and then some. He was a wonderful bumpa to my children and my sister's daughter. He was a devoted husband to my mom. A funny uncle cornflakes to my cousins, a supportive brother to his siblings and a wonderful, faithful friend to those that were lucky enough to be in his life. My dad was my hero and now he's my angel! I love you, daddy!

Loved seeing Don and working with him at Alverno. You could count on him to bring humor, a little sarcasm, hard work and creativity to every situation. He is missed.

Dear Cheri and Family,
We're so sorry to hear of your loss. I can still picture Don and Bob setting up the volleyball net every year for the Kravit summer picnics. Don always had a big smile for everyone. You're in our thoughts and prayers.

We all relied on Don here at Alverno--not just his work, but his warm, funny, kindly presence helped to hold things together and keep things on track for us all. Here's to you, Don! You are appreciated, valued, and missed.
