Donald Torrey

Sorry to hear of Don's death. I enjoyed/valued our long and interesting discussions at the Pizza House.. I knew Don's dad years ago, Wallace Torrey, who was an Easthampton Fire Dept Deputy Chief, and I was a Chicopee Firefighter.. I met Wallace and Don in the 1970's at the now gone Remember When (Fran & Eds way back)

Don was a hardworking, kind and generous man who we've had the privilege to have as a friend. We grew up in Easthampton during a great era and over the years our roots in our hometown grew stronger. Now as our circle closes, we have wonderful memories to share. We'll miss our summer stays at your School Street Villa, discussions of politics, from local issues to national events over numerous cups of coffee or hanging out in the "meeting room" in the garage. You would have been a GREAT...
