Donald Toscano, a devoted family man and dedicated public servant, was born in San Antonio, TX on October 4, 1937. He proudly served his country through overseas military assignments in Greenland, Germany, and Vietnam, culminating in a distinguished career as a member of the Honor Guard at Lackland AFB. Donald transitioned to a 21-year career as a government employee at the Audie Murphy VA Hospital. Outside of work, he enjoyed announcing and keeping time for Southwest Championship Wrestling, as well as sharing meals and making memories with his loved ones. After a courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease, Donald passed away peacefully at his home on February 15, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He leaves behind a legacy of love, service, & devotion to his family and community. Donald is survived by his wife, Adrienne, sons Don Jr. and Michael, brother Charles, and sister Barbara Stewart, his 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson.
A celebration of his life will include a Rosary at The Angelus Chapel on Monday, March 3, 2025, at 7:00pm, followed by a Funeral Mass at San Francesco di Paola Catholic Church on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at 9:30am. Interment with full military honors will take place at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 11:15am. Full obituary at theangelusfuneralhome.com
