Survivors:wife, Lynda (Bridges), Douglas; daughters, son-in-law, Robin Drake, Manley, Rhonzla and Petey Snyder, Hawesville, Ky.; sons, daughters-in-law, Ronnie and Faith Towle, Christopher and Michelle Towle, Matthew Towle and special friend, Amy, all Lincoln, Michael Towle, Douglas; grandchildren, Shara, Madison, Austin Drake, Amanda, Hanna and Glen Snyder, Anna and Gracie Towle and Chandler Towle; mother, Lena Towle, Elmwood; sisters, brothers-in-law, Mildred Lester, Lincoln, Kate and Jack Krouse, Elmwood, Lena Mae and Larry Vanderman, Ashland, Maureen and Chuck Sweeney Sr., Abilene, Texas, Elaine and Ken Grannas Sr., Adams.; 10 nieces; nine nephews; four great-nieces; 17 great-nephews; two great-great-nieces; one great-great-nephew. Services: 10 a.m. Saturday, United Methodist Church, Douglas. Visitation: 2-8 p.m. today, with family greeting friends 5-8 p.m., Metcalf Funeral Home, 245 N. 27th St.; one hour prior to services, church. Memorials, in lieu of flowers: family.

I drove my usual route home tonight. I was about three miles from home and something I saw brought you forcefully to mind. You know what it was. I know you do.
