Not sure what to say?

What a wonderful man and mentor to so many...I enjoyed many fine conversations and good laughs with Don and Willie--and wonderful Amy as well--in the later years of Don's life. I am so grateful for those experiences and for the many ways that he touched so many in Oregon. I will miss him!

I was saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. Tykeson, and want to extend sincere condolences to the family.

He was a giant on the National MS board. I consider it an honor to have known him. RIP Don.

We should all be forever grateful for Mr. Tykeson's support in the creation of C-SPAN. Keeping tabs on our leaders is a hallmark of the very special relationship the American citizen has with its government. He clearly understood that civic responsibility in his life's work. Well done Sir!

Uncle Don was a really wonderful man who touched so many lives. I didn't get to see him often but when I did, he was kind, gentle, and always seemed to want to know what I was up to...I have fond memories of seeing him at Thanksgiving & other family functions and I will hold those dear. May you rest in peace, Uncle Don, and may God be with Aunt Willie and your children at this time.

Even though it's been years since I've seen Uncle Don I always felt special when around him as he listened to my opinions. You were loved from afar and so admired as you fought a good fight. God Bless.

Uncle Don touched so many lives with his kind and gentle manner. He was always interested in what I was doing and could pick up a previous conversation with me even tho a year or two had passed between visits. Remarkable man and he will be missed.

My deepest sympathies. Jessica O'Donoghue, friend of Danny Cascade's sister, Kathy
