Not sure what to say?

Dear Barb and family ~ When I was a little girl, I remember looking up to Don. He was my VERY smart older cousin and my Dad liked to use him as a measuring stick and role model for my siblings and myself. How many people has he influenced over the years to strive for the top? Only God has the answer but know that your husband/father truly made a difference in many lives. My prayers are with all of you.

Dear Barb:
I just returned from Florida last night,
and talked with my brother Dave, &
he told me of Don's Homegoing. What
a blessing to know he is in the glorious presence of his Lord & Savior.
I'm sorry I was not home to come &
give you a hug!!
Thoughts & Prayers,

Barb,

I was sorry to read of Don's passing in the Advance today.

He hired me as a part-time secretary in the Mathematics/Computer Science Department back in 1982. I really enjoyed interacting with him. Even after I left GVSU, I continued to read about him and his work on the Jenison School Board.

May God comfort you in this time of your loss.

Barb and family, I'm one of the aides at Brookcrest and wanted to tell you Don will be missed. Don always had a smile and tried his best to do what we asked him to do for that I really loved him. Even though I didn't know him to long before he became quite sick I knew he was a gentleman and a kind person which gave me great joy. Thank you for allowing us to care for him and I wish you well and will pray for God to strengthen you during this time. Love,

My dear Barb,
It saddens me so to read of your loss. Marilyn and I are out of town or we surely would have expressed our sorrow peraonally. I have so many memories of serving with Don on the school board. I hope we taught each other some things. Don always said that board was the best he had ever served on. I will miss him very much. God Bless You.

Barb & Family, Marilyn & I want to express our sincere condolences at your loss. I always admired Don. We will keep you in our prayers.

Dear VanderJagt Family,
I am saddened to hear the news of your loss. I hope that your family finds peace in unity and you all remember the accomplishments of his life. May your family feel blessed to have him in your lives and the knowledge that he is at peace. My sincere regards to you all.

Barb, I am very sorry I could not make it to any of the services. I am thankful that Don is no longer suffering. You both were inspirations by your courage and love you displayed. It was a privlege to have met both of you and I will keep you in my Prayers.
