Not sure what to say?

Happy Birthday Don. You will be missed this summer at the campground. We didn't get to know you very long, but happy for the time that we did get together. We will help Patty this summer and keep her out of trouble. Do you think that is possible?

Thank you for the short time that we did have.

Don,
Jim and I are thinking of you today on your birthday. We wish we could have known you much longer. We will be going to the campground next week and we will all miss you up there. We will help Patty any way we can.

Don,Today you would have been 66 and I miss not being able to give you your card and cake..You were never big on birthdays..But you did them anyway just to make me happy..I also miss not being able to tell you the things that I see and hear about..The house is so empty without you..Pop, Lucy is doing ok and Rosco is just being Rosco..I just let him out for awhile and Lucy just follows me around the house like she did you..The campground will be opening in a week and a half..Everyone said that...

Don it was a pleasure and honor to know you. I had so much fun and good memories of you and Patty together, dont know if you have any body now up there or down there to agrivate now but im sure your having fun wherever you are. You will be missed. Have a great B-Day

Don, Thankyou for all the wonderful memories you have given our family they hold a special place in each of our hearts. Miss you much.

Don,
Even though your not here for us to celebrate your birthday. I know you are having quite a party up there in heaven! It was such a pleasure getting to know you and Patty. You made the campground so much more fun! You could always put a smile on my face!
Happy Birthday Don!

Dad,
It is still so difficult accepting that you are not here. It would be so wonderful to speak to you again and tell you how much I love you. Daily I think of the influence you have over my life and feel so grateful that you are my dad. You were a great grandparent to Morgan as well. I am thankful for the times that we shared, for your strength, your love and for always being there when I called. With your birthday coming in 1 day it is especially hard. I hope my prayers will...

We write this entry on what would have been Don's 66th birthday. Happy Birthday Don! We know you are looking down at us from heaven. We only recently became friends with Don and Patty but feel we have known them for life. They are our camping buddies. It was such enjoyment to watch the two Don's fishing off the pier and talking about the "old times" around the campfire. Don will be so sadly missed by his new friends and our heartfelt sympathy and love extends to Patty as she moves forward...

Although Don is not here to celebrate his birthday tomorrow, we all need to celebrate the fact that we had the priviledge of knowing Don. Even when Don wasn't feeling well, he managed to make those around him laugh. Thanks for the memories.
