"Father Don" in my heart forever

Look to God for comfort (Jeremiah 29:12,13).

Don and I attended 1st grade thru 12th grade. We enjoyed planning class reunions and he and Debra stood-up for Greg and I when we were married. I babysat Darin and Lea for a time and grew to love this family as if they my own. Don helped me out at different times in my life and we always called each other on our birthdays. I have lost one of my best friends and my heart breaks for Debra, Lea, Darin and Derrick and the rest of the family. R.I.P. my dear friend.

I am so sorry for your loss. I will definitely miss seeing him work. He was such a nice person.

It was a true pleasure working for Don for 25 yrs. A wonderful person.Thoughts and prayers to all his family members.

I had the pleasure of working with Don for a few years he always had a smile on his face, and very nice to me and my mom. I'm sorry for your family's lose.

DON'S WAS ALWAYS THOUGHTFUL AND CARING TO HIS MANY FRIENDS, HE FOUND TIME TO CALL MY FATHER[GEORGE] HIS UNCLE, IN LATER YEARS, AND THAT MEANT ALOT TO HIM. I WILL MISS THE 'GOOD TIMES' WE SHARED, HE WAS A VERY 'SPECIAL GUY'FROM A VERY LOVING FAMILY.....

I had the honor of working for the Volk company and Don for 32 years. He was a sweet, kind and fair man that I loved very much. He will be missed by many. My condolences to the family.

Dear Debra , Darin, Lea, Deek and Dayton. We are all going to miss Don very much. We were all so lucky to have had him in our family. Sometimes he seemed so quiet, but then he would hit us with a punchline! We are definitly going to miss Christmas when it is at your house, as Don always did his " Prouty Party Patrol ." He will be forever in our hearts. We are honored to have known him.
