Read MoreI have many good memories of Don and miss often. His nickname in North Carolina was "Grumpy". I never found him grumpy at all and wondered where the name came from. One evening after some good scotch I asked him why he was called Grumpy. He said he was only grumpy after he got in the truck with Bill Boone. It was funny watching those two interact at the fish camp!!

I'm so glad our paths crossed. Spent many hours at the Fishcamp talking about boats and planes. I took Don spotlighting deer one night and he had a great time. Then there was the night we loaded up in the boat and went mistletoe hunting!! Many good memories. I will miss you "Grumpy"//
