Don, you were one of my dearest and kindest friends. We missed your leadership in our little group when you & Lin moved to Florida, but your happiness was more important to us. We are so glad for the time we spent with you, and for the years you & Lin spent together. I will listen to hear you playing when the stars are bright and the moon is full. It was a privilege for me to serve with Don in the U.S. Navy8 Band in Washington DC. I am happy to say I was also able to connect with him at his house in Hollywood CA and was happy to be able to host he and Lin at my house in Maine. What a rich legacy he has.
