Sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Waldrop. During the formative years of the late 60's and early 70's, Mr. Waldrop helped shape my perspective of the world around me. From coaching me in basketball at Weisser Park Jr. High and South Side High, to giving me the opportunity to coach Wildcat Baseball at Portage Jr. High, Mr. Waldrop was always supportive. Rosalie and family: my sister Kathleen and i, steve,send our heartfelt condolences and prayers of sympathy for you in your loss. My parents Norman and maxine kramer, were friends of Don. Dad worked with wildcat, was a teacher,coach, and a Phillies scout. He knew Don well through sports. We were saddened to hear of his passing. God bless you all, were thinking of you. I remember as a young boy, dad talking about Don.

Mrs. Waldrop and family,

So sorry to hear the passing of Coach Waldrop. I am so happy that I was able to speak with him on occasions about our times at Weisser Park jr. high and at South Side high school.
