Donald Roy Walker

I miss Don daily. I love you Donald Walker.

It was very thrilled when I found some piece of information of my old English teacher , Donald Walker, from the "Texas Tech Vietnam archive" which later turned to be a deep sorrow when I found Donald's Obituary. More than 45 years ago , I was one of the student in his English night class when Donald was

My big brother, favorite uncle to my boys and the favorite for most of my relatives.
There could be no better brother than Don. His spirit and memory will live with me all my days.

Sam and I have been friends with this wonderful man for too many years to count. He was always full of stories and I loved to just listen to his wonderful voice. Our thoughts and prayers go to Jonette, Jenny and Jolie. We love you all!

Don was the ideal of a scholar and gentleman, an outstanding member of our group of doctoral students at TTU in the 1970s. He will be sorely missed.

Dr.Walker was one of my favorites at TTU. He was on my dissertation committee and was always gracious and generous with his time.

I will miss that great booming voice! What a scholar and expert in his field. May God bless family and friends. Cherish the memories!
