Donald B. Walker

I just read about Dr. Walker's death and am greatly saddened. Dr. Walker was a wonderful mentor to me during my time at KSU (85). I had the honor of co-leading a Freshman Orientation class him in the fall of 1983, and fondly recall that his wisdom went beyond the academic classroom. It is with great sadness that I read about Dr. Walker's passing. I was a Criminal Justice student of his at Kent State ('89). He was a wonderful professor and just recently I was speaking about him and the many anecdotes he would share with the class. My thoughts are with his family.

Dr.Walker was one of my favorite professors at KSU. A great guy who always stopped to say hello and had a lot of great stories in class. Sorry to read of his passing.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you for the loss you and your family now experienced. I may not have met your father but he seems to be such a great man judging from the achievements and contributions he has made throughout his life. I am sure he had been such a wonderful father so this must be a painful loss. Know that I am here for you at this time of grief.
