Donald R. Weaver

We are so very very sad to learn of Don's passing! He has been such a special friend, like family. As a child, my mom grew up with him on Holmes Terrace. I, from Connecticut, spent all of my childhood/young adult summers on Holmes Terrace with my grandmother, the Weavers, and their children/grandchildren. Grew up next door to Don on Holmes Terrace.I always enjoyed seeing him at the Plymouth Yacht Club over the years and more recently at the Plymouth Cordage Museum. Always had that great smile and was so interesting to chat with.

Will miss him, but I am so glad to have known him.

Don and I enjoyed a special friendship for some 80 years on and off Holmes Terrace. Such a kind, warm-hearted, and caring friend! I shall miss him terribly!

Don will be missed dearly at our local yacht club here in Plymouth. I always enjoyed chatting with him, and I would be sure to greet him and catch up on his endeavors. Always a friendly smile on his face, and always happy to see old and new friends.
