Not sure what to say?

My deepest and most heartfelt condolences to family and friends. I was most saddened by the obituary as I was searching for a way to contact Mr. Wedewer on the internet. I had the honor and privilege of working with Mr Wedewer at the Florida Council for the Blind during the 1970s. I have always admired and respected Mr. Wedewer for his knowledge, strength, and courage. I am so sorry for your loss. I am honored to have been related to such an incredible man. What a legacy. Thinking of you all.

God bless Donald Wederer who did so much to make life better for so many. Love and sympathy to all the family.

I served as Don`s secretary for almost 20 years in Tallahassee. During my tenure he was not only a mentor, and a great leader, but at times served as a father figure as well. His wife Marabeth always treated me like family. It was an honor to be part of his legendary life and work. He will be missed greatly, but lived a long and productive life. Goodbye from "Sunhine" (the endearing nickname he gave me)

No matter how old we are, it´s never easy to lose a parent. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as you grieve.
