OUR FATHER LUIS RODRIGUEZ WAS A GOOD FRIEND OF DON'S. THEY WORKED TOGETHER AT SAN PASQUAL FOR MANY YEARS. SADLY OUR DAD PASSED AWAY ON AUGUST 26TH. WE KNOW WHAT YOU ARE GOING THROUGH AND SADLY OUR FAMILIES ARE MOURNING TWO WONDERFUL MEN AT THE SAME TIME. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. I BET THEY ARE MAKING THEIR JOURNEYS TOGETHER.....

My brother, John, is married to Don's daughter, Margaret. We had many opportunities to gather as family through the years. Don was always a kind, considerate and gracious man. As an artist, I have immeasurable respect for his gift of knife making. He is in a class by himself. He will be missed greatly by all who knew him. My fervent prayers are for your comfort at this time. I hope you can take comfort that you will see him and be with him again.
