Not sure what to say?

Werkheiser family, I worked with Donnie at the prison in Clinton. He was a terrific person and a great officer. It was my pleasure to have known him. I know he is with our LORD.

The Man, The Myth, The Legend. "A Man"... who always found time to help everyone & to make other lives better even in times of pain. "A Myth"...in the eyes of his grandchildren. He could jump from tall buildings, lift heavy stones, fight off criminals, see around corners, hear everything & make anything possible. He was their special hero! "A Legend"...for his family & friends, he will live on in our hearts and the memories of all the stories told by those who knew him well. He was a man...

Pat so sorry to hear of Donnie's passing. He was such a great guy. We sure did play an awful lot of softball together back in the day. A competitor and loyal teammate. It was a privilege to to take the field with him. R.I.P. Don.

Werkheiser family...So sorry for your loss.

Pat and family. I was saddened to hear that Donnie has passed. He was a very special man. I had the privilege to have worked with him at Annandale and also to compete against him in many softball games. God bless and RIP my friend.

So sad to hear about Donnie. I worked with Don for many years at Mountain view Correctional facility. We also played a lot of softball together and had some memorable times. Every time I saw Donnie we would talk about family and reminisce about the good old days. He truly was a great person. My condolences to Pat and entire family.

Our deepest condolences to Pat, Shannon, Carissa & the rest of his entire family R.I.P Don
