Not sure what to say?

Don was a true gentleman when I worked with him at the post office in Oneonta. He was one of those great band of brothers who served the public that I had to pleasure to know and will always remember.

Dear Donna,

I was sorry to hear of your father's passing and of that of your Aunt Beverly. I notice that your aunt's guest book has expired, and I do not have a mailing address, so will you please pass on my concerned greetings to your Uncle George, who was one of my favorite college teachers? The mention in your dad's obituary of the closeness of the Wetmore family, and of the self-reliance and caring that this closeness brought, reflects on all of you.

Colette Odell,...

Anyone around him, if even just for a minute, would leave with nothing less than a smile.

Marie:
My prayers are with you. I was saddened to hear of Don's passing. I remember him as happy person with a good sense of humor & a jaunty walk. I was fortunate to have known him.
Good Providence to you.

Wetmore Family,
I seem to remember you folks living on upper Ford Ave and indeed it was exactly due to people such as your Mom and Dad that made Oneonta such a great place to grow up. My most sincere blessings

George, I am sorry to hear of your brothers passing.

Dear Marcia & family,

My thoughts and prayers are with you throughout this difficult time.

I remember the Wetmore's well as our friends and neighbors on Walling Avenue in Oneonta during the 1950's. Sorry to hear about Donald's death.

Since Marc and I have been co-workers, I've truly enjoyed his tender stories about his dad. Since my older son is also a USPS carrier, and ironically was born on September 24 (1976), I believe we were destined to become friends since we both have had the honor of loving hard working, dedicated men.
