Not sure what to say?

In my memories, Mr Wolfe was a gentle giant. I loved singing under his leadership at Jefferson High between 1962 and 1966. I believe my love for music was in part inspired by him.

Greetings and my most sincere condolences to the entire Wolfe family, their spouses and offspring.
I too share your grief as we acknowledge the passing of our senior patriarch Don.
I am most moved by his passion for music of course. I was thrilled when Don & Pat came to San Diego to conduct a music theory course for our band. I have referred back to my notes of such several times since. Don knew the notes, relationships & the most important thing was the harmony. That harmonic...

I never met Don, but I got to know him a little bit through Debra who I'm friends with here in Valley Center. Music has always been a part of her life, she obviously got that from Don, and has passed that gift and love on to Makena. So to all the Wolfe family, my condolences for your loss. But what a wonderful legacy he has left:) ~ Sally Busby Novey

To the Wolfe family,

Thank you for sharing your husband and father with me, and the thousands he has Influenced through music over the years. I love Don Wolfe, and you, his sweet family as though you were my own.

I am eternally grateful for this gentle, spiritual, kind man, who brought music to life, and taught me how to feel it. I shall never forget in 1975, singing An Apostrophe to the Heavenly Hosts, by Healey Willan. This piece, under Don's direction, will ever be...

Just wanted you all to know that you are in our thoughts and Prayers during this sad but comforting time knowing your Dad is resting in Jesus arms and he has made it home at peace. You Dad was an Amazing Godly example. Mark and I remember him coming to Woodlake to help with our Choir when Bro. Tim Debusk was our Pastor very inspiring and we learned a lot. He will be missed for sure. What a wonderful legacy he has left behind. Love and Hugs to you all~Mark & Martha Scholz

Im so sorry to hear of the loss of your Father, Debra and family. My heart goes out to you and your family. Prayers for ease, grace and an abundance of love as you gather to remember and mourn such a great loss.

Holding you all in my heart during this time. Blessings of peace to all.

Debra,

Thinking of you and your family at this sensitive time of passage. What a beautiful family unit your mother and father have created. You are all so very blessed to have each other. My thoughts of warmth, love and support for you and all your family.

With sincere, heart felt condolences, Claudia

Mr. Wolfe was my very favorite teacher in high school. He taught me more than keeping in tune and notes but how to spell fish in an unusual way and it was his choir class I learned about Japanese internment camps. He was kind and a wonderful man. Everytime I hear 'Hallelujah Chorus' I think of him. My heartfelt thoughts and prayers to his family. - Angela Blackwell Beck-Class 79/80
