I had the privilege of knowing Don for about 10 years at work. Don's friendliness and cheerfulness were always welcome. His knowledge of sports, history, music, and current trends was astounding. Both of our fathers served during World War II, just one of many aspects of life Don and I found in common. His insight on so many topics in life was always clearly stated and forthright.
