Donald Duane Zaborney

ZABORNEY, Donald Duane – Of Clio, age 82, died Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Cranberry Park Memory Care in Clio.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 4, 2017 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Reverend Kevin Zaborney officiating.

Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.

Visitation 4-8 p.m. Friday and 12 noon Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Donald was born in Flint, Michigan on February 8, 1935, the son of Christ and Ruth (Scotton) Zaborney, and was a resident of Flint, Clio and Bay City.

He was a member of the United Methodist Church and the Lion's Club, where he served as Past President.

Donald was employed as a health inspector in Genesee County and Bay County.

Surviving are his children, Kevin (Pam) Zaborney,

Michelle (Gary) Scigliano, and Allison (Andrew)Ijames;

7 grandchildren;

special friend, Diane Steffens.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Helen Stoner.
