Not sure what to say?

My condolences to the Zarder family. Mr. Zarder hired me for my first job in a new country. My family had come from Canada in 1967. I think he hired me in 1968. I have fond memories of that time and I owe it to Mr.Zarder. Thank you. Larry Peters

I enjoyed working for the Zarders for 6 years. Mr. Zarder taught me about having a strong work ethic and though he was a stern man, he made me laugh on many occasions. I on the other hand , drove him crazy, but he always had a soft spot for me.I will always have great memories of Zarders and the friends I made.My condolences to Mrs. Zarder , Mrs. Pingel and family. Cheryl Theigs would agree. God's blessings Kathi Tackman Boziel

Kurt & Jim, My sympathies to your family. Good memories of the Appleton Ave. spot. Happy hour on Greenfield ave. He was a good guy.

Don Zarder was a consummate restaurateur. He and wife Audrey treated patrons of their restaurants as not just customers... but more like family. Don at the door "directing traffic", seating many customers personally and Audrey in her restaurant "whites" checking everything to be sure all was right from kitchen to dinning room. What a team!

The first snow of winter signaled a trip to Zarder's to see the Christmas lights that surrounded the entryway to the New Berlin restaurant. ...

Our sincerest condolences to Jim and his entire family on your loss. May God Bless your Dad, and all of your loved ones.

My deepest condolences to the entire family.Don helped shape me into the person I am. I will never forget my 20 years at Zarder's Reasaurant

Many thanks to Don for his guidance, knowledge and friendship. He was a quiet and humble leader who was a positive role model to every life he touched. Thank you Don.
