What a Lovely Southern Lady she was...Kind,funny,and full of life...

My family called Donata. Doe Doe, the only name we have ever called her. She grew up across the street from my mother.on Oakdale Road, They grew up playing together as young children, although they went to separate schools, they always looked forward to being together .
Doe Doe and my mother have stayed so close even when she moved from Atlanta, Ga. It was truly at friendship you could not divide. I believe mom spoke to her just a few months ago with the help of her daughter,...

Donata was a year or two ahead of me at Druid Hills and I admired her. Seemed she a;ways had a smile on her face. She was a friend of one of my cousins and about 25 years ago we were both invited to a bridge luncheon at my cousin house. We had a nice chat and I heard about her family. She was as pretty as I remembered her from Druid Hills and UGA. Share your memories with each other and keep her alive in your hearts. Gods' Peace be with you.
