Dear Claudia and Bruce:
I had wondered in recent years if your mother was still living. She had a long and good life. I'm sorry for your loss. My best to you and your family.

I always loved to hear Donetta bear her testimony. Her voice may have wavered, and faltered, but her testimony burned bright! I'm so sorry I missed the funeral, but I did not learn of her passing until afterwards.

She was a very dear, sweet lady.

Our deepest sympathy to all of you. We loved your mother dearly. She was a delight to visit teach and talk with. She was so wise and kind. There was an emptiness in R.S. when she no longer could attend. She was small in stature but great in wisdom and love. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I HAVE MANY FOND MEMORIES OF TIMES SPENT IN DONETTA'S HOME DURING MY CHILDHOOD AND TEENAGE YEARS. I ALWAYS THINK OF THE WORD "STALWART" WHEN I THINK OF HER AND THE THINGS I LEARNED FROM HER EXAMPLE IN MY LIFE. MY LOVE AND CONDOLENCES TO CHRISTINE, AND ALL HER MANY DESCENDENTS.

Our sincere sympathy to your family for the loss of your mother. She was a great mother who raised a wonderful family! She was a good aunt to us cousins! We love you all and wish we could be there for her funeral. Lots of hugs!
