Donita Rouse Poothullil

I just recently learned of Donaita's passing. I will always have fond memories of her. I met her at Leggett UMC back in the mid 80s. I would run into her on and off after I left Leggett, but it had been years since I'd seen her. I knew the home on the beach was lost during Katrina and wondered what had happened to her and the family.

I know you still feel the loss, but I pray that her love she had for her family will continue to bloom in her grandchildren.

I got to know Donita just this year when I sat with another lady at the Gardens Italked with her every day, she had a beautiful smile, she loved ti listen when they sang the hymns,I grew to think a lot of her. I know she is with God now.

I used to go to church with Donita and her family at Becky Bacot United Methodist Church in
Pascagoula. She was so quiet yet had a fantastic sense of humor and a dry wit. So sorry to learn of her passing. Prayers for her and her family
