Donn William Pendleton

Donn & Elsie Pendleton played a huge role in my youth. While I was growing up in Beaverton, Donn & Elsie devoted themselves unselfishly to the youth in our church. We spent many many weekends with them, rollerskating, sledding, camping etc. As a child of a poor family, Donn & Elsie provided social activities to me that I might not ever been able to do otherwise. My deepest sympathy on the loss of your dad, Donn. I had the privilege of getting to know both of your parents through my job at the drug store starting at Community Drugs. They were both very sweet people and I am glad I was fortunate to get to know them not as just my regular customers but also became close friends of theirs. My prayers go out to you for strength during this difficult time.

I just saw your father's obituary in the Midland paper. I am sorry to hear of his passing as well as your mother's. Unfortunately I won't be able to come up for the funeral, but I did want to write.
