Not sure what to say?

I remember Donna as a lifeguard and swim instructor at the pool in Wahoo. I remember her absence one year from the staff, but saw some scribble inscribed on the ticket box they used at the pool which said, "Donna is in St. Louis...," which now connects some dots that have been missing from my memory path since those days at the pool in the 1980s. I will never forget her charm and dedication as a lifeguard from those simpler times I continue to cherish.

My deepest condolences to Donna´s family. In high school Donna always carried a friendly smile.

I am so sad for everyone´s loss. We studied together at Columbia mph program and remained friends after. Donna was a powerhouse; compassionate, giving, cared about world justice & had an amazing sense of humor. My condolences to her family!

I loved working with Donna during my time at PIH. She was a delightful person with a clear sense of purpose. May she rest in peace, and best wishes to all of her family.

Donna brought an amazing energy to the work and the world. I'm saddened to learn of her death and her illness. While she'll be missed by many, her energy will continue to move the world in a better direction. All of us who had the opportunity to have her light shine on us, are better for it. May she transition well to whatever is next.

Donna was in the Regis College DNP Culture Class that I taught. She was a very motivated and enthusiastic about her project. May she rest and peace. I will say a prayer for her family and friends. Margherite Matteis

Donna was such a kind and patient source of support and guidance when I joined PIH. She will be deeply missed.

I owe a great deal to Donna; she fundamentally started my career in healthcare and social justice in the United States (at Partners In Health). She was a relentless advocate for the potential of young professionals in the global health field and that impact will be recognized for decades to come. My condolences to her family and friends...may her memory be a blessing.
