Grandma Donna was always very happy to see my sister, Elizabeth, and me. Every time we were over, she smiled when we walked into her house to see her. I was always ensured to be served my favorite, fried chicken, whenever I was there. Whenever I was home from college, my father, Miss Patti, and I went to visit her. She was always looking forward to see us and we always had a good time visiting her.
I will miss you, Grandma Donna.

If it is true, as I believe it is, that the best legacy we ever can leave in this world is the gift of kind, good-hearted children who make and have made a positive difference to others in ways large and small, then Donna's legacy is wonderful indeed. The very best of Donna was reflected in her three children, Jeannine, Mark, and Deanetta; and shone again through her grandchildren, Christopher, Anthony, Elizabeth, and Alexander; and through her great-granddaughter, Sophie.
