Not sure what to say?

Today I light this candle for my Haysville Jr. High art teacher, 7th and 8th Grade cheerleading sponsor and then later in life one of my loyal Jackie Sorenson's Aerobic Dancing students. Your light will shine forever in my heart. It was truly a gift having you in my life. Thanks for all the special memories!

When Donna first came to Haysville she had an apartment, but no roommate, and needed someone to share the bills. I was there for my second year but needed to move closer to the school, so she asked me to be her roommate. She was fun to live with and remained a good friend always.

Donna and I taught school together at Campus...She was a marvelous artist and teacher who took her job very seriously...I worked along side Donna at Cobblestone Gallery...to say that she was my friend is an understatement. Later she cleaned my house and she did one of my favorite pieces of art...a painting of my cats. It looks exactly like they did...Donna's faith in the Lord Jesus Christ was a very deliberate and positive part of who she was...She touched others for Jesus!

We sends our regrets to Donna's family, friends, students. May this good soul, friend, teacher rest in peace. May everyone left behind have only sweet memories.

I remember Donna when she taught art and I was also a teacher. I had lost contract with her. She not just loved art, loved her students.

To Donna Lee, my oldest sister. Such a talented loving sole. I love you and will miss you so very much. Rest in peace.

Ms Bicknell was such a great teacher. I looked forward to every class I had of hers. I loved art but wasn't very talented but that didn't matter, she was always encouraging. Rest in Peace Ms Bicknell.

Kansas thurderhead.

It is with sadness that I heard the news of Donna Lee's death. She and I were housemates for about 10 years. She loved her siamese cats. My condolances to Bev and Paul, Kim, Sherry & Pami. She was so diciplined and was a gifted artist in many media and loved teaching. Her love of the Lord Jesus, her Savior will now be rewarded in heaven. Condolances, too, to her friends at Wichita Bible Church and the Tucker family.

Class of 72, she was a sweet lady. I enjoyed her class.
