Donna Joyce Bold, whose fun spirit and energy touched the lives of all who knew her, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2020.
Donna lived an active life. She was born April 14th, 1942 to Sally and Casmir Olszewski and loved her native City of Chicago. She was a Chicago Symphony member, GFWC Northwest Suburban Woman’s Club member, Chicago Chapter 82nd Airborne supporter and a doting Mom, Aunt and Grandmother. She made sure that she shared all the great things the city has to offer to her Niece and Grandchildren.
She was well-traveled, yet always knew that home is the heart of her family. She leaves behind to her children important traditions and memories.
Donna was preceded by loving Husband Alan and dog Bernie. She is survived by Sons, Tom Lentz (Suzanne), Michael Lentz (Denise) and Daughter Michelle Street (Jep), Niece Megan Kiolbasa, Grandchildren Sam, Lauren, Riley and Brennan and Sister, Gloria Kiolbasa.
A private mass will be held for Donna. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to GFWC Northwest Suburban Woman’s Club (Education & Library or Domestic Violence Awareness & Prevention).
The family will host a Celebration of Life when things settle down.
Donna will be truly missed. Love, her sister Gloria

I send my thoughts and prayers to Donna's family. Donna was a beautiful, warm, up-beat woman who made everyone around her feel comfortable and special. She just wanted to have fun with Alan and happily invited everyone else to tag along. She had a huge variety of friends who's paths probably wouldn't have crossed if it didn't have the "Donna connection". In summary, Donna was a one of a kind, special individual and for a tiny person she left a large emotional footprint. I will...

Donna seemed like such a free spirit, a happy-go-lucky woman. I only got the chance to know her for the short while that I’ve lived here behind her, but she always greeted me and my daughter with kindness and love. She seemed to appreciate life and nature and I feel like she had a wonderfully beautiful soul. She will be greatly missed.
I am so sorry for the family she has left behind and I offer my deepest condolences to them.
May she Rest In Peace and harmony with her husband...

So very sad to learn the news of Donna's passing. She was a wonderful person with a huge heart and presence. She and Alan were beloved members of our Airborne Family in the Chicago Chapter, 82nd Airborne Division Assn. and both are missed greatly.
