Coker, Donna Elaine (Deason)
passed away March 15, 2011 in Mesa, AZ. She was born May 9, 1953 in Henderson, TX. She is married to the love of her life Michael Coker. She leaves behind her husband; children James and Jessica Brady; mother Jeanette Howard; siblings James Deason, Lori Deason, Glenda Fortenberry; step-children Toby Coker, Kim Hammons, Jeremy Coker, 8 grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her son James Neal, father Hershel and brother Butch. She belonged to the Gold Canyon Soroptomists. Visitation is Friday, March 18 from 6-8 PM at Bunker's University Chapel, 3529 E. University Dr. in Mesa. Funeral services are Saturday, March 19 at 2 pm at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 612 S. Ellsworth Road. "She was the brightest light of our lives."

She loved and was loved by so many. I will miss my Donna D. She has been a part of my life since we were 16. I will miss my best friend but feel blessed to still have her big family in my life. It was nice meeting so many, that I just heard their names over the years. My love to all of you.

I'm so sorry to hear of Donna's passing. I used to work with her and I always looked forward to when she would stop by the office. She had such a great sense of humor and kept us all laughing. She was a great woman. Your family will be in my prayers.
