Adobe Creek Funeral Home - Petaluma Obituary

On Friday November 11, 2022 our dear Donna Marie Dito passed away at the age of 64. Donna was born and raised in the Sunset District in San Francisco, attending St. Gabriel and Presentation High. Donna retired from a long and rewarding career at The Parc 55 Hotel.

Donna was known for her generosity, selflessness, perseverance, and sense of humor. She had the best taste in music and a special love for all animals. One thing that always brought Donna joy was a beautiful sunset, which was only deepened during her time living in Hawaii.

Donna is survived by her two children, Nick Silva and Lindsay (Kyle) Wallstrum; brothers Gary Dito and Greg (Laura) Dito and nephews/niece Matthew, Michael and Amy.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Marilyn Dito.

A celebration of life will be held. Please reach out to family for details.

We love and miss you dearly, Mom

Not sure what to say?

A friend told me if Donna’ passing. Donna was my best friend growing up. I lived a few doors down from her and spent MANY days at her house. I remember her parents fondly and brothers too. We continued our friendship into high school and had so many wonderful times driving around in her white Karmann Ghia. When we were young we ate hundreds of pounds of sun flower seeds. We loved Jackson Browne and The Rolling Stones. The band the tubes practiced a few blocks away and we could hear them....

Nick and Lindsay, Donna will always hold a special place in my heart. May the angels of God wrap their wings around her and her family. All my love Cheryl Hay

I am saddened to hear of Donna´s passing. I grew up across the street from her, and I remember hanging around outside eating sunflower seeds, playing school in the entrance of the Dito house, and working on our suntans in her backyard. RIP Donna, you have left this world much too soon.

To the Dito family, I am shocked & saddened to hear about your sister Donna. We recently had our St. Gabriel 50th reunion and she was in many of our classmates thoughts. Prayers to the family. Sincerely Kathy Kelly

Prayers to the Dito family. I was so broken hearted when I heard about my dear Donna. May you Rest In Peace Donna. Love Shirley

To the Dito family , was sad to read of Donna's passing way to soon. I only ran into a few times over the years and she never changed. Always smile , so easy going and a great story. I Know she will be missed, R.I.P. Donna

I am shocked to learn that Donna passed away. She left too soon. I worked with Donna for years at Parc Fifty-Five, San Francisco. She made the best cupcakes and we shared similar taste in music. When I hear, Jackson Browne I will think of Donna.
