Donna bless your heart, you always had an unusual dry sense of humor that I enjoyed but some times you would add something to the conversation that just was a surprise & made me think even more about our conversations. Donna Duerr was an absolutely wonderful teacher, advisor, and friend! I have always had great respect for her and treasured her friendship. I had a wonderful relationship with her from fifth grade through 12th grade. She truly has had a big influence on a great many students! Prayers and condolences to the Duerr family and friends.

Ms. Duerr was always ready with a smile each day as we went into PE. You knew if you needed anything, you could talk to her and she'd do what she could to support you.
As a teacher now at Godwin, I count myself fortunate to have had her and my other GHS teachers to show me how to do it the right way. May her engaging smile light up your memories during this difficult time.

My condolences to Miss Deurr's family. I too crossed path with her at Godwin Heights H.S. And yes she ran a tight ship, her presence will be missed. I am glad to have met her. Blessings to you, her love and supportive family. The Lord comfort and keep you in the process of grief. Graduate of 1974.
