DONNA LEE FOREST

Donna spent many years teaching and supporting students at SFCC ASN Nursing Program. She was a professional who saw good and hope in all. Donna loved life in all that it offered to her and others. My deepest condolences to her family and friends.

I missed my very first day of nursing school 32 years ago, I was so nervous. I had to go to Donna's office on the second day to get my syllabus and find out my assignments. We bonded over our mutual appreciation of the new book, The Color Purple, and Donna's warm, encouraging, and calming presence helped me maintain my confidence throughout the program. Donna was full of love and kindness. She was also a smart, tough lady who knew what she wanted and was able to express herself well. I will always think of her twinkling eyes and tinkling laugh.

I could not have had a better friend in life than Donna. She always listened with an open unjudging heart. She will be missed by all of us who loved her.
