Donna K. Garrett

Donna K. Garrett, 76, of St. Joseph, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Mosaic Life Care.

Donna was born on November 22, 1939 in Parnell, Missouri to Donald and Wilma (Midyett) Chapman and was raised in St. Joseph. She was a graduate of Lafayette High School and was the owner of Garrett's Grille. She later worked for Lee Jeans and retired from Sack & Save Grocery. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three children, Charles Patrick "Chuck", Joy Lynn and Ricky Lee Garrett and one brother, John Chapman.

She was married to Delmar Garrett for 60 years, he survives of the home.

Additional survivors include their children, Dick Garrett, Randy (Teresa) Garrett, Brett Garrett and Bradley Garrett; four grandchildren, Chance, Cheyenne, Anthony and Ashley; one great-grandson, Hunter.

Memorial Service 11am Monday, April 25, 2016 at Wesley United Methodist Church. Mrs. Garrett has been cremated. Visitation will begin after 9am Sunday at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00pm Sunday evening. The family suggests memorials to Wesley United Methodist Church.
