Donna Marie Eckels Gautier

I tried to visit Donna last time I was in Roanoke, someone else lived in her condo then, so I wondered if she had moved to a nursing home, but I know now that I missed her. I´m so sorry that I did. Love you Donna.

Donna was such a caring person. I had met her at Lewis Gale and had her speak to a group on loss and grief. We spoke many times then to line things up and right after. Because of her influence, I decided to go back to school, get a degree in social work and became the bereavement coordinator of a hospice. I thought of her often and her compassion and caring. I hope it helps bring you peace to know she passed her knowledge on.
