HERINGER DEVLIN, Donna
Katherine
Born to James and Katherine Heringer of Clarksburg on October 26, 1953 and passed peacefully on January 2, 2012. Leaves behind her loving husband Charlie Devlin, brothers Jim (Ginny), Warren (Yadira), Ralph (Linda), sister Helen (Allen); stepchildren Jason (Crystal), Steven, and Paul, and numerous beloved grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Her passions were many: family, friends, her dachshunds, politics, and the SF 49ers. She was an active supporter of Clarksburg community activities. Donna retired from the California Department of Food and Agriculture. A memorial service in her honor will be held at 11 am on Saturday, January 7 at the Clarksburg Community Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church.

I love you my dear friend Donna, we joked we were soul sisters and I always felt we were. You will be missed on this earth so much and I will always remember your smile and laugh. You knew me better than I knew myself and we had a special long lasting friendship. When i was there a year ago staying with you and Charlie, it was fun how you would sneak in my room several times a night so we could talk and laugh and you didnt want to waste a second of my being there. I so appreciate that now as I did then. See you on the other side honey! Xoxo

I'm going to remember Donna's jolly laugh that made everyone smile. She was a generous lady. She made sure that our unit had plenty of snacks and tried to keep it fun. She was one-of-a-kind.

My name is Betty Sugimoto, a very close and dear friend to Donna. Donna was a wonderful person, so loving so caring. She was always full of smiles. We enjoyed going out to dinner with our husbands together, and spending Holidays together. I will miss Donna so very much. She will ways hold a special place in my heart. Love you always and forever Donna.

Donna, My heart hurts knowing you had to go so soon. A year ago while I was in the hospital you brought me an Angel to look over me. It has been on my Mantle ever since. Now everytime I look at it, I will think of you. You were always kind and generous. I know you are now in a better place. Jaime

Very sorry for your loss. I had the opportunity to work with Donna for a couple of years at Food and Agriculture. She was a great and very caring woman. She will be greatly missed.
