Not sure what to say?

I met Donna when we had several feral cats in our yard. I did not realize how attached you can get to them. I was introduced to Donna and she was so, so helpful in giving me advise to caring for them. She had become a very good friend to me. She was my hero. I still think of her and miss her friendship.

I am just learning of Donna's passing, and I am truly saddened. I worked with Donna for many years when she was at Legal Services. I first met her when she and others wrote and got passed the original NJ Prevention of Domestic Violence Act. Donna was a passionate advocate for victims/survivors of domestic violence and we worked on this issue together for many years. And I certainly considered her a great and loving friend. And yes, she was an extraordinary person. I am so sorry to have...

I knew Donna from the late 1960s, when we were all at Rutgers University together. She was kind, compassionate, and practical, and I remember many excellent parties and dinners we all attended. Donna's passing makes the world a less special place. Very sorry to hear of this, and my sincere condolences to Bryan and other family members near & far - Donna will definitely be missed. Here's a 16mm film I made of Donna and David's wedding in 1969 - https://vimeo.com/129582086 - RIP.

Donna fed me, laughed with me, encouraged me, kept my wits about me through a rough time with a very nutty, manipulative boyfriend when I went back to college as the kind of "older and non-traditional student" at the then-wonderful Livingston College (and thanks, too, to David and Brian for making space for me at the warm, cozy Highland Park apartment). Donna could work a miracle with olive oil, broccoli and pasta, a recipe she'd got from her mother. I remember the night the bat got into...

It took me a few days to even come to terms with Donna´s passing. She was a bright soul that touched everyone she met. Even until the end, her giving nature was unmeasurable. A true legend. May she rest in power. Liz H. Ramirez

Ted and family, please accept my condolences. Donna was an amazing person who had the ability to put one at ease with her warmth, and reassuring smile. May her gentle and kind soul Rest in Peace.

Thanking Donna for all the assistance she gave so many of us with TNR. It was a true pleasure to know her; such an inspiration when things got tough, she demonstrated how to fight the good fight. I hope all the kitties ran to you as you entered the pearly gates!

My deepest condolences to Ted and the family. Donna was a wonderful person and her trainings along with those of Ted Gardner helped me to become a better lawyer, thank you Donna and Ted. Jeremiah Battle, Staff attorney , National Consumer Law Center , Boston Ma.
