Donna Mae KERNIK

I had Mrs. Kernik as my 5th grade teacher at Weaver Elementary. She is one of the reasons that I became a teacher. I remember going to her house on a field trip. She made learning fun and I have many fond memories from 5th grade. Thoughts and prayers to her family.

Mrs Kernik was my 4th grade teacher at Weaver Elementary School. I remember the trading post in the back of the classroom and learning about Minnesota history. We went on a field trip to Fort Snelling and the Indian Mounds...I still go for walks there and talk about Mrs Kernik´s lesson that day. And I think we all went to her house that day too. ? I still have a paper with "Beautiful!" written on the top in her handwriting. :) She was a very special lady. My condolences to her family.

Mrs. Kernik was my 5th grade teacher at Gladstone Elementary School in Maplewood many years ago. She is the reason that I became a teacher! I remember being in her class like it was yesterday! She made learning soooooo much fun! She was such a caring, loving, and amazing teacher and person. She made a huge difference in the lives of so many! My sincere sympathies for your loss.
