Donna Ann Leary

To the Leary Family, I met Donna about 40 years ago when the only bed available for me at Greenwich Hospital was on the Peds floor, I was in my thirties at the time, Donna was just five years older than I. A few years later it happened a second time. Donna joked with me about being on her floor, "Oh no, you again." We had a good laugh about that. Truth be told, it was wonderful to be on her floor. Donna was a special person. She will be missed by many.

To the Leary Family, I have very fond memories of Donna who was in admissions when I began my career at GH in 1986. She was the epitome of grace....and as I recall the sharpest dresser! May she rest in peace. Best, Debi DAlba

Donna and I worked together when she became Director of Admitting, but knew each other before that. She was a wonderful friend to me. She will not be forgotten. My prayers our with her family. Rest in peace, Donna.

I always wanted to work as a nurse on Greenwich Hospital´s pediatric unit but Donna was such a wonderful head nurse there were never any openings - the attrition rate was zero! Throughout my career at GHA, I looked to Donna as a role model of professionalism, competence, and compassion. Rest in Heavenly Peace Donna. My sincere sympathy to her family.

Donna was my first head nurse as a new grad at Greenwich Hospital.She was a wealth of knowledge but even more reassuring was how she carried herself in all situations.They didn´t get any better than that! She was a loving mother and wife and mastered all these roles while working! A true role model.
